Junior League Teams on Fire!!!!!

The club’s junior swimmers were out in force on Saturday for round 2 of the Junior League, with both teams  putting in outstanding performances!!  Well done to each and every swimmer who participated, and thanks to all the parents and older swimmers who helped out in any way.

The A Team were up in Worksop and were up against Sherwood, Worksop, Derby Phoenix and Ripley.  Final results were as follows:

With 23 first places, 14 second places and 8 third places, the swimmers finished in the top 3 in 45 out of a total of 47 events – an outstanding result. 

Whilst the A team were in Worksop, the B team were in Ilkeston and came an impressive 2nd.  Here are the final results:

With 14 first places, 17 second places and 7 third places, 38 of the swims were in the top 3.  This was a large team, with many having only just started racing in competitions, so a great result.  Well done!!
